Luise Langner – short biography
, is a country of origin analyst for the
Federal Office for Migration and Refugees in Nuremberg, Bavaria.
After spending almost half a year in Karatu, Tanzania as a volunteer in a nursery school for the
organization ACT Volunteering, she gained a Bachelor’s degree in ethnology at the University
Leipzig, with special attention to African regions. After working as integration manager in a
German camp for asylum seekers for the German Red Cross, she continued her Master’s studies in
International Migration and Intercultural Relations at the University Osnabrück, with special
attention to internal migration within African regions.
For many years she is working voluntary for and with refugees in Germany.
